Brussels, Belgium & Silicon Valley, USA, October 6, 2025 – VoxelSensors and Summer Robotics have announced a strategic R&D and commercial partnership to create advanced perception technology for robotics. This transatlantic collaboration combines Europe’s expertise in photonic engineering with Silicon Valley’s leap in innovation in robotics and physical intelligent AI.

The partnership will integrate VoxelSensors’ LYRA sensors, which use Single Photon Active Event Sensor (SPAES™) technology, with Summer Robotics’ Kortx™ AI Vision streaming system. This integration is set to create a fast, low-power, and low-latency machine vision perception system for robotics. To accelerate innovation and market entry, the companies will establish dedicated development teams in both Brussels and Silicon Valley.
