2025’s Achievements Fuel 2026’s Ambitions

2025 delivered transformative progress for VoxelSensors. We celebrate the milestones reached while sharing our vision for the innovations ahead.

  • SPAES™ first commercial sensor

After intensive design and validation, we are excited to share that the Lyra sensors, our first commercial SPAES™ sensor, have gone to tape-out. This novel BSI stacked multi-modal sensor combines active 3D sensing with high-framerate 2D imaging. While we target general availability of the sensor in Q1 2027, reach out for early access. Stay tuned!

  • Collaboration with Qualcomm

In August 2025, we announced a collaboration with Qualcomm Technologies, Inc. to jointly optimize our SPAES™ sensing technology with Snapdragon® XR Platforms. On our path toward elegant AR glasses with human-like understanding of users and their context, we are now collaborating with Qualcomm to integrate SPAES™ sensing technology with the Snapdragon® AR2 Gen 1 Platform, enabling next-generation spatial sensing for XR.

Meet us and experience SPAES™ and Snapdragon® AR2 Gen 1 demo at CES 2026 at The Palazzo, Las Vegas — meetings by appointment only via [email protected].

  • BruBotics

On 27 November 2025, BruBotics marked its 10-year anniversary with a vibrant celebration of robotics, physical AI, and humanity-centered innovation at the new U-Square site of VUB-ULB. Our CGO and President, Andre Miodezky, delivered a talk presenting how our collaboration with BruBotics translates into real-world innovation and integration with drones and robotics.

  • InVision 2025 award

VoxelSensors received the inVISION Top Innovation 2025 award 🚀

We are honored to be a Top Innovator, addressing the industry need for real-time capture of contextual data and real-world egocentric data collection solutions, enabled by our energy-efficient, low-latency, and scalable spatial sensing based on Single Photon Active Event Sensor (SPAES™).

  • First DPI eye tracking prototype (January 2025)

Looking back at the beginning of 2025, the year started with a demonstration of our first operational prototype of a narrow beam Dual Purkinje Image (DPI) eye tracker. We believe the system can revolutionize user data acquisition, enabling the next generation of contextual AI in wearables.

The eye tracker uses our unique SPAES™ sensor and a novel optical approach that enables unprecedented accuracy of below 2 arcminutes and low power consumption at sampling rates exceeding 1 kHz. A first wearable early-stage demonstrator is to come in 2026.
